The lodge consists of 4 two bedroom self contained units name after the elements of earth, wind, fire and water. Each enjoys spectacular views either of the surrounding bush or that glorious view out across the Tasman. Nothing has been spared here to make our stay comfortable, full kitchen with all the conveniences of microwave, dishwasher, and breakfast bar. The quality crockery, glassware, sumptuous linen, toiletries and superior sound system all add to the ambience.

We choose to pour a glass of wine that our very thoughtful hosts Rob and Sharon had left chilling for us and wandered out to the loungers on the deck to take in the scenery.

If you can tear yourself away, the town of Raglan is just 8km away and it is a wonderful place to take in art and craft shops, cafés and the fishing wharves. There are numerous walks nearby, however it is a must that you drop in and watch the surf at Whale Bay. Just watching the sea gives an overwhelming sense of peace and tranquility.
