Jenny and Graham have done a fantastic job converting their large family home, built in 1908, into two separate, self-contained villas.
Both have unobstructed views out to Haulashore Island and beautiful Tasman Bay. The Loft, which is the upstairs villa, is ideal for a couple looking for romance. The walls reflect the colour of the sea, and bold, coloured textiles, made by Jenny, add to the ocean theme.
I really enjoyed this place; the attention to detail and comfort as well as the views. The Loft has a king-size bed, which is overhung by an amazing canopy imprinted with glowing stars. The Westwing Villa, which has been kept in its original form, is decorated with warm colours and has two generous-sized rooms that lead onto a Victorian verandah. Even relaxing in the bath, I could still see the view.
Both villas are filled with original art and many of Jenny's own creations. They are fully self-contained but instead of eating in, I walked down to the waterfront where I found many award-winning restaurants. And there was no need to worry about stocking up for breakfast. The pantry and fridge in the villas were filled with a variety of fresh produce for breakfast.
