The Resurgence eco-lodge is set on 50 acres facing the splendid hills of the Kahurangi National Park.  The name Resurgence is taken from the nearby geological feature where the underground Riwaka River emerges from a marble landscape.

The lodge has four guest rooms and six self-contained bush suites which are all very spacious.  The tasteful décor has been chosen to complement the natural surroundings. Our hosts Clare and Peter took the time to show us the special features of the property like the trees native to the area that they are re-establishing. We were encouraged to explore the network of bush tracks, enjoy the bird life and natural habitat and to visit the many nearby attractions of both the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks.

After returning to the lodge we had the choice of a dip in the pool or the hot tub or alternatively you can book one of the many massage and therapeutic treatments on offer before joining fellow guests and the wonderful hosts for pre-dinner drinks.  The memorable four course dinner showcased the best of local produce, much of it coming from organic gardens on the property.

Clare and Peter proudly support sustainable tourism and are actively involved in re-introducing kiwi into an area of the Kahurangi National Park.  The Resurgence is the perfect place to spend a few days exploring the beautiful Abel Tasman Park, Golden Bay and the Nelson art and wine trails.
