What a fantastic place to stay. When I am travelling, I always seem to have far too much luggage.
The guest suite at Mollie's Cottage is large with a separate living area so that I could store all my luggage and have a bedroom that didn't look like a tornado had hit it as soon as I had opened one of my bags. The living room is complete with small dining table, lounge furniture, television, fridge with tea and coffee making facilities and elevated view - very comfortable for a longer stay.
My host, Shirley, describes the accommodation as quintessential - the décor is romantic, plush and luxurious. This is certainly honeymoon territory.
Breakfast can be served either in the dining room in the house or in your private living area where you won't be disturbed.
A walk down to Shakespeare Road means that you can be in the heart of Napier's city centre within minutes and enjoy the many cafes, restaurants, historical walks, gardens, Aquarium or just enjoy the Art Deco that Napier has to offer. There is a lock-up garage available to guests on the street adjacent the house.
