Casa del Ponti is perfectly situated just 3 minutes' stroll from the vibrant village of Havelock North, amidst one of the most charming locations in the world, Hawkes Bay Wine Country.

Our party of six were treated to every luxury whilst staying at this gorgeous Italian inspired holiday home. We immediately relaxed amidst comfortable surroundings, a welcome respite after a long day exploring this lush region's wine, art and culture.

Built in 1920, the Italian influence in the design is strong with recent skilful renovations bringing the home to an impeccable level of style and comfort offering all modern conveniences, tasteful furnishings, antiques and a mix of European and local artwork.

The pool was inviting on such a beautiful summer's day, followed by cocktails and alfresco dining in the peace and privacy of a beautiful walled garden.

A large double-storied house, there are two plush bedrooms upstairs with spectacular views to the Havelock Hills and Te Mata Peak. The upstairs shared sitting room was a great place to quietly catch up on our day's events. Downstairs is the third, equally well appointed, double bedroom, two bathrooms, a stunning kitchen, laundry, dining room, sitting room and sun room which opens out to the courtyard.

Memories were made at our Case del Ponti reunion as we reminisced, enjoying each others company in the comfort of a home-away-from-home. A fine prelude to an upcoming Tuscan sojourn!
